Olga Tatarintsev, Leonid Tishkov
19-22 May 2022 / DRAWING NOW 2022 / Carreau du Temple / Paris, France For its first participation in Drawing Now, the gallery presents drawings of two artists: Olga Tatarintsev and Leonid Tishkov. Olga Tatarintsev questions in a singular manner the evolution of freedom of thought in present times through her work with language: she takes words themselves as her graphic material which become pure form. Leonid Tishkov’s poetic and metaphysic oeuvre is realized in a diverse range of media. |
Viktor & Sergiy Kochetov, Vladyslav Krasnoshchok, Sergiy Lebedynskyy, Roman Pyatkovka, Evgeniy Pavlov, Sergiy Solonsky 11 - 15 May 2022 / PHOTO LONDON 2022 / Somerset House, London, Booth E02 Alexandra de Viveiros gallery is happy to present at Photo London Art Fair seven artists belonging to the Kharkiv School of Photography, Ukraine. Since the mid-70s, artists of the Kharkiv School treat the photography in an unconventional way, developing a personal aesthetic by defying the social taboos of the representation. Their experiments created an iconography that went against the codes of social realism glorifying the repressive state. They show the reality of everyday life as well as the fragility of bodies often depicted naked, disobeying the official prohibitions. |

Olga Kisseleva: Double Life
